Partner with Prenda, Run a Code Club, Change Lives

Interested in starting a code club but aren’t sure where to start?

Maybe you don’t know how to code, and that makes running a code club sound scary. Or maybe, just maybe, you don’t have bucket-loads of free time to put toward developing a new program.

What you need is help — When you work with Prenda, you don’t just get our training, software, and support. You get a partner. And we’ll walk alongside of you to make code club the easiest and most successful program you’ve run in years.

“When I started a code club I didn’t know much about coding. But I found there was nothing to be nervous about. Prenda provided everything I needed.”

How it works

We’ve developed a unique learning model for our code clubs. It’s pretty simple:
kids + adult + software.

Kids

Code club is informal. Kids show up at their school or library, choose what they want to work on, go at their own pace, and have fun. They make friends (we call it code club for a reason), and learn to code on their terms. They learn to take ownership of the learning journey, they don’t give up when it’s hard, and they make some seriously cool stuff.

Adult

Prenda’s code clubs are run almost exclusively by non-coders. That means you don’t need to know how to code to run an amazing club! We let the software do the heavy technical lifting. Meanwhile the adult simply needs to cheerlead, mentor, and facilitate. Chances are you’ve got the perfect person for the job… No lesson prep, no curriculum development. Just show up and have fun!
